What is the definition of luck? You often hear comments like ‘You were lucky to get that pay rise’ ‘Getting that job was a stroke of luck’ ‘It’s lucky you started that business’ the truth is though that if you hadn’t been prepared it’s unlikely those things would have happened. But you were prepared to ask for that pay rise, you were prepared to apply for that job, you were prepared to start a business.
