With so many people offering complementary therapy in the UK how can you be sure you are consulting with a genuine therapist who has the experience and skills to assist you best? The information contained in this brief summary includes details of my training background, association memberships and qualifications.
The following guidelines assist clients to get the best from their appointments
It is best to wear loose comfortable clothes for appointments.
Please give as much notice as possible if you can not attend your appointment.
Please avoid wearing perfumes/aftershaves
Please complete any ‘homework’ given.
We do understand that things happen unexpectedly or that you may change your mind or perhaps don’t feel ready or even up to attending your appointment. If that should happen, please give as much notice as possible to cancel so as to allow time to offer the appointment to someone else who is waiting, which helps avoid wasting that appointment.
You are of course, more than welcome to get back in touch at a future time to arrange another appointment when you feel ready or that whatever had prevented your attendance has been resolved for you.
Sometimes clients are given techniques or simple exercises to practice between appointments as part of their therapy process. Therapist time is spent in preparation for the client appointment based upon client co-operation. If a client does not co-operate then this preparation time is wasted and the effectiveness of therapy is diverted and/or delayed, please bear this in mind.
Arriving for appointments:- Please arrange to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time.
Thank you for your understanding.
If you choose to book an appointment to start making the positive life change you desire or attain the goal you want to achieve it maybe that you will feel unsure what to expect or perhaps you might feel nervous about coming for the appointment.
Please be assured that many clients over the years have been in your position and initially felt this way, but soon learnt there is nothing to be concerned about and indeed enjoyed their sessions.
When one sees a client start out in therapy as a nervous, shaky individual often prone to tears, it is such a pleasure when, after completion of appropriate therapy programme, to see that same person as a cheerful happy calm person who has resolved their issues and is ready to live life to the full in the way they desire and deserve.
What Happens – 1st Appointment
The first appointment is an intake appointment during which we investigate and gather lots of useful information. This helps to decide upon the best therapy plan for you which is not only the most suitable but also what would help you achieve it most effectively and quickly.
The therapy plan may consist of a single technique approach or may be a combination of methods. It is not always possible to offer any projections on how many sessions it will take to help you achieve your goal or change, but I can say that no one is kept in therapy longer than necessary.
BWRT®, a recent development of modern advancement in mind therapy does not employ Hypnosis and is a very effective and amazing therapy technique. The results of this therapy have been staggering and clients experience swift positive changes, indeed these startling results are being seen on a daily basis.
Please note that in the unlikely event we discover that you have issues which are beyond the scope of any of the services available then you will be informed of this and we can discuss or advise on other options which may be more appropriate to you.
