From Black Belt to BrainWorking – Keith Tunstall on the Transformative Power of BWRT®
With a background in martial arts and over two decades of running a successful business, Keith Tunstall has a unique understanding of the mental resilience it takes to achieve success. But it wasn’t until he trained in BrainWorking Recursive Therapy(BWRT®) that he realised the incredible potential of this therapy to create fast, permanent change. Now, Keith combines his expertise in mental and physical discipline to help clients overcome their deepest struggles, from anxiety to trauma and beyond.
Keith is an Accredited Member of The Terence Watts BWRT Institute, Supervisor and Mentor to other BWRT therapists.
With over 24 years of experience helping clients achieve their goals, Keith runs a thriving therapy practice in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. He offers online therapy to clients across the UK and globally via platforms like Doxy, Zoom, Facetime, Skype, and WhatsApp. We sat down with Keith to learn more about his journey and the transformative impact of BWRT®.
What inspired you to become a BWRT practitioner?
Having trained with Terence Watts previously, I knew BWRT® would be something special—and it certainly lives up to all expectations! The results it delivers are nothing short of extraordinary.
Can you tell us a bit about your background before becoming a BWRT therapist?
I trained in Shotokan Karate for 40 years and achieved black belt 5th Dan. I was also a karate instructor for 18 years. I ran my own business supplying coffee and vending equipment for 20 years. I trained in hypnotherapy under the tutelage of Terence Watts and gained a diploma with honours in 2001 and I’ve been helping people ever since. These diverse aspects of my background have shaped my approach to therapy, providing me with a unique perspective on mental and physical discipline that I now use to help my clients transform their lives.
What are some of the common issues people seek your help for?
I work with neural blocks, the issues that prevent people from life enjoyment, business success and goal achievement such as:
- Anxiety and fear
- Trauma and PTSD
- Phobias and misophonia
- Low self-esteem and self-worth
- Lack of confidence
- Self-sabotage and intrusive thoughts
- Stress and limiting behaviours
Can you share a memorable success story where BWRT® significantly impacted a client’s life?
I think this client review sums up a great success story:
“I’ve had different types of talking therapy on and off for twenty years in an attempt to address my debilitating lack of self-esteem. As much as I wanted to believe Keith’s depiction of BWRT as a ’silver bullet’, I didn’t believe it could be as fast and effective as that description seemed to promise.
“Very simply, I was completely wrong. 24 hours after the second session I had a revelation that I was actually ME for the first time in over 40 years. I’m still incredulous that BWRT could be so effective, but my warrior is back. I am so grateful that I’m finally able to live to my potential.
“Thank you Keith.”
What unique aspects of BWRT® do you find most effective compared to other therapeutic approaches?
The speed at which change occurs and the permanency, plus with changes occurring in the session, coping strategies are simply not necessary. I also love the simplicity of the BWRT process and the fact that it is completely natural as it mimics the way in which brain and body work together naturally and how it works in a completely different way to all other therapies that I know about.
What advice would you give to someone considering BWRT® for the first time?
You have everything to gain by taking the first step and booking a free online no obligation initial consultation with me to find out how BWRT can help you. I can’t think of a better therapy for both clients and therapists!
